Brothers 5 (ブラザーズ5) is a Japanese group of male singer-songwriters under UP-FRONT CREATE formed in 2014 by Sugita Jiro's suggestion. The group officially began their first concert tour on May 24 at Katsushika Symphony Hills, and made their debut with their DVD single Kono Machi de / Lady Greensleeves / Ureshii na! on June 4, 2014. They also made an appearance in the film Fushigi na Misaki no Monogatari released on October 11 on the same year.[1]
Prior to coming together as a group, all five of them had been individually active in the entertainment industry since the late 1960's and early 1970's, and have been affiliated with UP-FRONT GROUP since its early days.[2]
