Chichuukai (地中海; Mediterranean) was a record label under UP-FRONT WORKS. It was created in January 2003 for the purpose of handling European-based Japanese-pop music. Music released under this label, such as Iida Kaori's solo music, had a Mediterranean-esque style inspired by French, Greek, and Italian music. Much like the zetima label, it was also handled by Sony Music Entertainment Japan up until December 2009, when the label was abolished and merged with zetima.
