Nakagawa Chihiro (中川千尋) is a former 2nd generation member of Up Up Girls (2). She joined the group on April 22, 2018 along with Sasaki Honoka.

Early Life[]
Nakagawa Chihiro was born on September 3, 2004 in Shizuoka, Japan.
2018[]
On April 22, it was announced that she had joined Up Up Girls (2) along with Sasaki Honoka.
2020[]
On April 5, she opened up an official Twitter account and Instagram account.[1]
2022[]
On January 7, Nakagawa Chihiro took a break from all activities with Up Up Girls (2) for a month to focus on her studies to prepare for entering college in the future. During this time, she was absent from all events and live performances, and was not active in any social media.[2] She made her return to activities on February 4, 2022.[3]
On July 14, it was announced that Takahagi Chinatsu, Nakagawa Chihiro, and Niikura Ami had been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19. A staff member had reported a fever, and ended up testing positive after taking a PCR test. As a result, all of Up Up Girls (2) took PCR tests as well, and the three of theme were confirmed positive. All three of them are in stable physical condition, and would concentrate on treatment under the direction of health centers and medical institutions.[4]
2023[]
On February 16, it was announced that Nakagawa Chihiro and Morinaga Niina would be graduating from Up Up Girls (2) at the end of the Up Up Girls (2) Haru Tour 2023 ~Niki-chan Family Zoushoku Keikaku 👾~" live tour, which began on March 5 and will run through April.[5] Both would be retiring from the entertainment industry, Nakagawa plans on focusing on college, while Morinaga plans on studying foreign languages and pursing a career in that field.
On April 30, Up Up Girls (2) concluded the Up Up Girls (2) Haru Tour 2023 ~Niki-chan Family Zoushoku Keikaku 👾~ at SHIBUYA WWW X in Tokyo, where both Nakagawa Chihiro and Morinaga Niina graduated from the group.[6][7] Afterwards, she remained under YU-M Entertainment as a talent.[8]

As of April 2020, she's currently attending her first year of high school.
Nakagawa's given name, Chihiro, means "thousand" (千) and "fathom" (尋).
