Kageyama Shigeki (䕃山茂樹) is a Japanese managing director and the current representative director and president of UP-FRONT GROUP. He also currently serves as a director in the Japan Visual Industry Guild (J・VIG).
Biography[]
Kageyama Shigeki was born in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan in 1958.
After graduating from Waseda University, he joined the Warner-Pioneer Corporation (currently Warner Music Japan). He was assigned to their Osaka sales office, where he worked in business and advertising affairs. He was eventually transferred to the music production division at the head office in Tokyo.
In 1995, Kageyama joined UP-FRONT AGENCY, where he worked in production, sales and management affairs. He worked his way up the company to becoming the senior managing director of UP-FRONT AGENCY, as well as the representative director and president of the UP-FRONT WORKS label company.
In 2011, he was appointed as the representative director of J.P ROOM.
At the end of March 2019, he succeeded Seto Yukio as the representative director and president of UP-FRONT GROUP.
