Kajishima Aya (鍛治島彩) is a 1st generation member and sub-leader of Up Up Girls (2).
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Kajishima Aya was born on July 21, 1999 in Chiba, Japan.
2017[]
On February 25, it was announced that Kajishima had become a member of Up Up Girls (2), alongside Takahagi Chinatsu, Yoshikawa Mayu and Hashimura Riko.
2018[]
On July 27, Kajishima joined the UP-FRONT esports club.[1]
On August 26, Kajishima and Suzuki Airi formed a PR unit named All Chiba Hospitality Corps in a ceremony for the "All Chiba Hospitality Action!" campaign.[2]
2020[]
On May 17, Up Up Girls (2) released a music video for a new original song, "Donomichi Happy!", which was their first ever composed by Kajishima herself.[3]
2022[]
On March 27, it was announced that Kajishima Aya had been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19. She had reported a fever the day before, and after taking a PCR test, she ended up testing positive. Her physical condition was stable and she would concentrate on her treatment under the direction of health centers and medical institutions.[4]
On April 25, Kajishima Aya released a digital EP titled KAJISTICK ALBUM through iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, Recochoku, and other websites.[5]
On May 22, upon Yoshikawa Mayu's graduation from Up Up Girls (2), Kajishima Aya was officially appointed as sub-leader of Up Up Girls (2).[6]
