Watase Maki (渡瀬マキ) is a Japanese singer and talent formerly under UP-FRONT CREATE. She began activities as a television personality after winning the 1986 Young Jump Queen grand prize, and debuted as an idol singer with the single "Pearlmond Kiss" in 1987. In 1998, she formed the band LINDBERG with guitarist Hirakawa Tatsuya, bassist Kawazoe Tomohisa, and drummer Koyanagi "cherry" Masanori. After LINDBERG disbanded in 2002, she became inactive in the music industry until LINDBERG reformed in 2014. In 2006, she launched the children's clothing brand Ontembaar.

She was transferred to UP-FRONT CREATE in October 2013. On March 31, 2023, Watase Maki terminated her contract with UP-FRONT CREATE in order to create her own independent label with Hirakawa Tatsuya.[1]

Personal Life[]

On October 16, 1997, she married Hirakawa Tatsuya. She gave birth to her eldest son on November 6, 1999. She gave birth to a daughter on August 26, 2003.
